Portrait photography is capturing the individuals character and personality. I have always enjoyed working as a portrait photographer in the DC area, not only is it a challenge to capture an unknown persons character in a portrait session, but it's also a joy to constantly meet knew people, whether it's a corporate portrait or a children's portrait, the challenge and the joy is the same to me.
